Our tour guide Karen was very informative. We learn't a lot about the history of Bridgetown and Barbados. We have visited Bridgetown before but having someone to tell us about the buildings and history was so much better than just wandering around on our own. The only slight criticism would be giving directions to the meeting point. It would be better to direct people to the cruise terminal rather than the port as that is what is shown on the maps given out by hotels. We spent quite a long time trying to find out where we should be. Luckily we were rescued by a very helpful taxi driver who got us to where we needed to be.

We had a great morning touring around Bridgetown with our guide, Karen. She was so lovely and answered all our questions and showed us all the sights plus some of the beaten track. We also had a local Bajan lunch at the end which was delicious!

Karen was an excellent guide. Her understanding of the history of the island and its people engaged my teenagers and kept them inquiring more about the beauty of Barbados. Unfortunately, due to the effects of COVID and visiting in the “off season”, many shops were closed. Still, people were gracious and proud of the island they love. Easy to see why.

We are big fans of the walking tour and this is a great example of one done well. Cherise was a great guide with great knowledge for the morning and really personable too. Bridgetown is a lovely city and we felt we covered the best and the most important bits. The tour was well paced and excellent value for money.
