After being picked up from your Barbados hotel, meet your guide and small group of up to 12 people, then soak up the scenery as you climb into the central highlands.

The first stop of the day is Harrison's Cave, a magnificent underground cavern formed out of crystallized limestone. Ride the purpose-built tramway through the caves, passing cascading waterfalls, emerald-green lagoons, and a dramatic array of stalagmites and stalactites.

Back above ground, choose to visit one of the island’s most impressive botanical gardens – either stroll through lush rainforest at the Hunte's Gardens, or explore the Flower Forest, filled with tropical plants and flowers. You can’t tour Barbados without visiting the beach, so the next stop will be Bathsheba beach, a tranquil sandy beach fringed with palm trees and renowned for its surf.

After re-fuelling with a tasty Caribbean-style lunch (included) at a local restaurant, continue to the final stop of the day – the Barbados Wildlife Reserve. Spend time admiring the exotic wildlife, including parrots, flamingoes, iguanas, and turtles, and don’t miss the adorable Green Monkeys.

Your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.

Barbados Wildlife Reserve
The Barbados Wildlife Reserve lies in an enclosed area under a canopy of mahogany trees with winding red brick pathways beneath. If you look closely at the bricks, you can still see the stamps of the manufacturing companies. The bricks were brought to Barbados by ships, which used them as ballast. During the 17th and 18th centuries, these red bricks were used to construct boiler furnaces in Barbados sugar factories. The large wheel in front of the snack bar was acquired from an old sugar factory and was once used to drive rollers for crushing the sugar cane. The most popular animal at the Reserve is The Barbados Green Monkey. The monkey has brown and grey thick fur that has yellow and olive green flecks in it as an adult. In some lights, the monkey can appear green. This is why they are called green monkeys. Barbados Green Monkeys generally live in groups of fifteen to twenty. Within a family group, males gain their dominance by their size, strength and their ability to fight. Females, however, get their rank by the size of their families. Most infants are born during April and May.

Charles was excellent. Kind, knowledgeable, responded to our requests and made Barbados a great experience. The wildlife reserve was a surpringly fun place to visit.. Thank you.
Great Nature Tour!
, Aug 2021
This tour was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I loved Hunte's Garden way more than we initially thought we would. The grounds are absolutely amazing and it was nice to just sit in the garden for awhile and take it all in. The reserve was great as well. We made it just as the reserve did their afternoon feeding and it was really cool to see all the animals together eating and interacting with one another. Would absolutely recommend this tour to others.
Great animal interaction
, Jun 2020
The monkeys and turtles and other wildlife you see is stunning to see so close. Make sure you go at feeding time because that is when they are all there. But bring your patience for the other people who do not discipline and control their children as you would. They did not have someone there to protect the animals and stop the kids as they should.

This was an excellent tour! The best part was the nature preserve when they fed the monkeys. We were on a cruise ship, and decided to use Tripadvisor instead of the cruise excursions. TripAdvisor was a much better tour for less money!
Very good

Such a great day in Barbados

Ryan our guide was so great! I highly recommend this tour. The cavern in my opinion were so so. Nothing special. But if you’ve never been in a cavern then maybe you would like it. But very professionally run. Next was Huntes Garden. Fab-U-Lous!!!!! So much love and time put into this beautiful tropical private garden. With the added pleasure of classical music played throughout. If you only have time for one garden, this is a must see. Great sightseeing around the island. Great ocean side lunch with a steel band playing. Finishing up with the feeding of the monkeys and wildlife. Wildlife reserve is really nothing special, but the feeding is crazy fun and a lot of photo ops. The monkeys, tortoise, deer, and ducks are everywhere!!! Great , great day!!!!!!!
Unexpected Private Tour

We had a wonderful experience. For some reason none of the other folks who had signed up for this tour showed up so my husband and I had a private tour! The tour guide was very good and made sure we timed our stops just right to avoid crowds and have the best experience!
Cave formation, gorgeous garden, windswept beach, monkeys & peacocks up close!
, Feb 2020
Great tour! I had booked in advance through Viatour and had them confirm at that time since it wouldn’t be possible to phone from our cruise ship the day before. Had no problem finding the Glory Tours van pickup point....just follow the green spots on the floor in the Pier if you come from cruise ship. Our driver Narin was a safe, cheerful and informative driver and stayed in good contact with his fellow tour personnel. We had about 1/2 hr wait before going into theatre at Harrison’s cave for brief film about its formation/development. Then donned hairnets and helmets for the electric vehicle ride into the tunnels. (Leave sunhat and other gear on the tour bus; you’ll mainly want camera). The caves were impressive; both the man-made tunnels and the limestone channels, stalactites, deposits etc. Hunte’s Gardens were beautiful: 100+ years of effort to grow Palms, ferns and many gorgeous tropical flowers and trees in a gulley or giant sinkhole setting. Again, bring camera! We had a photo stop and nice lunch on Bathsheba Beach....windswept breakers crashing on the shore, palms blowing. At Cherry Tree HIll, we stopped to take panoramic shots of the coast, then dropped off some passengers at St Nicholas Abbey portion while we went on the the Wildlife Reserve well in time for 2 pm feeding. The free range green monkeys were abundant and hilarious. There were also jaunty red-footed tortoises, peacocks, small deer, and a Mara (look that one’s a hare’s body on a deer’s legs (!)). And some reptiles and parrots. Anyway, at feeding time the keeper dumped a wheelbarrow of cucumber and fruit on the ground, and there was a madhouse dash by the deer and monkeys, with the tortoises trotting up eventually. The reserve is blessedly shaded. Paths are made of recycled bricks in sloping hill, so wear sensible sandals or shoes.
Amazing Tour

Narin was our guide and he was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Went out of his way to make sure we avoided the crowds and had a great time. We would recommend this tour, especially Narin, to everyone.
Great Tour package
, Dec 2019
We were picked up at the Hotel Right on time and were off to Harrison Caves. This is a MUST SEE. Tour Guide at Harrison Caves on the tram detailed everything ion the stops of what we were looking at and how long these had been there. It was truly spectacular... We were then transferred to another driver (depends on the tour package you select) who then took us to the next stop Hunte's Garden where it had all different kinds of flowers, trees and such, plus a great view. Then onto a beach for a quick 15 minute stop and then onto lunch which was included. Then it was on to the Barbados Wildlife Reserve where some of the animals are able to wander around freely. It was a great experience. The our takes about 7 hrs, but they do have different and shorter packages,

The tour was excellent well paced, a good mix of walking and sitting in the tour bus especially if you have children. Pretty much saw the whole island. We have kids ranging from 4-11 years old and they all loved it. What really made the tour achieve 5 stars was our tour guide and driver Cory. He was phenomenal in both his knowledge, attitude had all of us laughing and was great with the kids! Wouldnt think twice about booking another tour with Cory as our guide!

Cory was a wonderful guide. He took perfect care of us. He picked us up at our home on schedule, had a perfect day together seeing the amazing sites, and safely returned us back to our home. I accidentally left my jacket in the van. He made a special trip the next day to return it to me. Thanks, Cory!

OK, so not a bad trip but could have been better. The stops themselves were nice but, aside from the caves where you had a guided tour, the tour guide was basically just a driver. The gardens we visited were beautiful but we were on our own for a lovely walk. We would have liked information on what we were looking at besides the occasioinal small signs with latin names. The monkey vist was fun but some more information would have enhanced the visit. Harrison's Cave was fine but that might depend on where you're from and whether you've seen caves/caverns before. You ride a tram type vehicle through the cave with a tour guide so there you do get some history and background.
