Meet your guide and a small group on arrival at Barbados cruise ship port, then soak up the scenery as you climb into the central highlands.

The first stop of the day is Harrison's Cave, a magnificent underground cavern formed out of crystallized limestone. Ride the purpose-built tramway through the caves, passing cascading waterfalls, emerald-green lagoons, and a dramatic array of stalagmites and stalactites.

Back above ground, choose to visit one of the island’s most impressive botanical gardens – either stroll through lush rain forest at the Hunte's Gardens, or explore the Flower Forest, filled with tropical plants and flowers. You can’t tour Barbados without visiting the beach, so the next stop will be Bathsheba beach, a tranquil sandy beach fringed with palm trees and renowned for its surf.

After re-fuelling with a tasty Caribbean-style lunch (included) at a local restaurant, continue to the final stop of the day – the Barbados Wildlife Reserve. Spend time admiring the exotic wildlife, including parrots, flamingos, iguanas, and turtles, and don’t miss the adorable Green Monkeys.

Your tour ends with drop-off at the port in time for your cruise departure.

Bathsheba Beach
Bathsheba is located on the Eastern coastline of Barbados. It is said that this area was named after the wife of King David whose name was “Bathsheba”. Legend has it that she bathed in milk to keep her skin beautiful and soft, and the rolling surf waters of Bathsheba’s “Soup Bowl” resembled Bathsheba’s bath. The area is popular with surfers. It is a popular area for locals and visitors alike and is dotted with several seaside cottages.

Barbados Wildlife Reserve
The Barbados Wildlife Reserve lies in an enclosed area under a canopy of mahogany trees with winding red brick pathways beneath. If you look closely at the bricks, you can still see the stamps of the manufacturing companies. The bricks were brought to Barbados by ships, which used them as ballast. During the 17th and 18th centuries, these red bricks were used to construct boiler furnaces in Barbados sugar factories. The large wheel in front of the snack bar was acquired from an old sugar factory and was once used to drive rollers for crushing the sugar cane. The most popular animal at the Reserve is The Barbados Green Monkey. The monkey has brown and grey thick fur that has yellow and olive green flecks in it as an adult. In some lights, the monkey can appear green. This is why they are called green monkeys. Barbados Green Monkeys generally live in groups of fifteen to twenty. Within a family group, males gain their dominance by their size, strength and their ability to fight. Females, however, get their rank by the size of their families. Most infants are born during April and May.

We had an amazing tour with our guide 'Sunshine'. She was an excellent guide, gave us lots of information and was quite happy to answer questions. We thoroughly enjoyed both stops and had plenty of time at each. Thank you Sunshine
More was expected - As per description on Viator
, Apr 2022
Great tour, although we thought, as per the description on this app, that more was included. The description here talks about visiting Harrison’s Cave, and a lunch, but we didn’t get to do any of that. This is why we’re only giving this tour 3 stars. Although we enjoyed what we did, we were expecting more. Between your hotel and the two spots you will visit, expect to be in the car a lot. Our guide, Winston, was amazing and made the drive enjoyable as he would make conversation with us and answer any and all questions we had about the island. He was very knowledgeable. You also get to see most of the island from the car obviously, which was nice. First, we visited Hunte’s Gardens. It’s the most beautiful botanical garden I’ve been to. It’s filled with well maintained tropical plants and flowers. They will give you a pamphlet which will give you information about the plants and animals that you will get to see. The owner takes great pride in this garden which he built and maintains himself. After your visit, be sure to visit his house. He will be sure to greet you with a smile and answer all your questions about the garden. There is also a gift shop on site where you will find Mr. Hunte’s own blend of Rhum! It’s definitely worth a try, it was so good that we bought a bottle. They take USD and local currency. We had an hour to visit the gardens, which was just enough to see everything. I definitely will be back one day and stay longer as there were many spots to sit down and enjoy nature, to the sound of spa like music, but we didn’t have the time to sit. Our second and last stop was the Barbados Animal Reserve. We also had one hour to visit this attraction, which was a bit tight. We arrived around 11 AM which is the time they feed the green monkeys. It was very nice to get to see the monkeys so close and in their natural habitat. We do not get to touch the monkeys. After about 25 minutes we proceeded to our visit of the rest of the Reserve. In that section, you will find a pathway which you follow in a forest. You will get to see turtles, deers, chickens, and birds. There is a building where you will find reptiles and fishes. It’s my understanding that there was more to see, including some type of cave, but we were too short on time for that. At the end there is a bar where you get to choose water or soft drinks. These were included in the price of the tour. Overall we enjoyed our day. We’re just disappointed that more was promised that we didn’t get to do.

We were lucky enough to end up with a private tour. Our guide Charles was very helpful and full of interesting facts. Hunte's Garden is beautiful and Anthony Hunte an excellent host. My highlight was seeing the monkey troop.

We loved this tour....especially seeing Harrison's Cave. We have toured many caves but never by tram before. The botanic garden was lovely. The monkey sanctuary was entertaining and we saw other animals as well. The lunch at the seaside restaurant was delicious! We highly recommend this tour!

Harrison Cave alone was worth the price. Coupling that tour with the forest garden, Basheba Beach, lunch on the beach, and visit to the animal rescue center made for an exhilarating day. Our tour guide was personable and friendly, as are all people of Barbados. The small group also made the trip more enjoyable.

We had a great view of the island, thanks Glory Tours and our guide Calvin. Stops at Harrison Cave about 1.5 hrs., Bathsheba 1hrs, Morgan Lewis Windmill few minutes, Natural Wonders Reserve 1hr, and Wildlife Reserve 1hr. He took the time to talk and point out areas of interest. We enjoyed time at each stop without feeling rushed at all. And enjoyed a fabulous lunch provided. Everything was perfect and enjoyable, Worth every minute. If you like a lot scenery, a little history, and great interactive fun try Glory Tours. Don't forget to try the punch.

We loved the excursion There were only four of us and everything was precise. Our guide was excellent. Lunch was also plentiful and good. I would have liked more choices on different islands and the Amazon that we could have used. We used your service. In Europe and were more than pleased also

Really enjoyed our tour here. Our first stop was at Harrison's Cave, This was amazing. The guides made sure that no matter where you were seated you got to see and take pictures of everything. Our second stop was at the Flower Forest. This was a self-guided tour. Our guide gave us a card with the pictures of the flowers and we toured the area at our own pace. Since we are from Florida, we knew many of the plants and trees we saw but still very much enjoyed this stop. Our final stop was at the Wildlife Reserve. We arrived just in time to see the monkeys, red deer, and turtles during feeding time. I would recommend this tour.

Our guide, Calvin, was extremely gracious. We enjoyed visiting the pottery factory. We bought two items there. We also enjoyed Flower Forest. We wish we could have spent more time there to really take in everything. More time at Flower Forest and less time at the Wildlife Refuge would have been better. There was some wasted time getting onto the tram at Harrison Caves. We were held up waiting for another group to arrive. I don't think there is too much that Calvin could have done about it, though. One more thing I would like to point out is that one may think that they are going to go to Orchid World on this tour. Instead, they automatically take you to Flower Forest unless you arrange ahead of time to go to Orchid World. The lunch stop was good and I am glad that Calvin placed our orders ahead of time so as not to waste precious time at the restaurant. I also wish we could have had some kind of orientation about the Wildlife Refuge. I didn't know about the back area of the Refuge with the aviary and flowers until about 10 minutes before we had too leave. This tour could have lasted another 30 minutes and we still would have made it back to the cruise ship on time.

The tour was GREAT! Harrison's Cave and the Wildlife Reserve exceeded our expectations. We did not expect the animals roaming freely in the reserve. The guide was wonderful but overloaded. He was trying to satisfy 2 tour groups at the same time, which meant a lot of back and forth to see all sights.
